03/15/24 - 1st year install warranty Bad PCB board in the AH one mini split #1 (storage room w/a stain glass window). See pics for model/senumbers 03/15/24 - 2023 Mini Split head #1 in the storage room with a stain glass window had a error flashing one time on the bottom green light. (See video), spoke with Wilson from tech support & Marvin & they explained that each system must be calling for the same mode but system #1 board is not recognizing the call for cool mode. Ordered a new board under warranty. Thank you for choosing Total Air… 03/20/24 - part return created - wrong control board. C attached pics with model # 04/02/24 Installed a replacement board labeled #1, Molex plugs does not match up. Called out today due to no cooling. Upon arrival system was running but not maintaining temperature. Found two heavily impacted filters which was restricting airflow. Removed 1” filter. Unable to get true refrigerant due to ice. Also unable to verify if the evaporator is impacted. Left the thermostat off and fan turned on to help thaw out system. Told tenant to turn system back on in a few hours. Please do not hesitate to call back if there are any further issues. House is 75 degrees upon departure. Called landlord to go over findings and connect but unable to reach anyone. Thank you for always choosing Total Air! Called out today to do a double take over the system. System was cooling again to set temperature. I did find a heavily clogged drain line. Offered to perform a drain solve treatment. Added solvent and let chemical sit. Complete no cool call. Customer states the ac is not cooling. After inspection I found a clogged primary drain line. The float switch was full of water which caused the unit to lose power. Our customer accidentally had a different ac company perform her last maintenances and she had issues with them. I don’t believe they cleared the drain at all due to the buildup. I cleared and flushed the drain line and tested for proper drainage. Our customer is now a prime maintenance member with us again. I cycled and inspected the system for proper operation. Customer concerned about unit not cooling properly. Checked filter location and inspected air handler unit. Located the main filter is clogged and not letting unit breathe properly. Dirty filter causes no air flow across the evaporator coil and not cooling correctly Checked temperature split and replaced filter with customer provided filter. Filter replaced. Unit is cooling well and drains at this time.

Called out today due to no cooling. Upon arrival system was running but the compressor was not. Found that the capacitor has failed on the herm side. Replaced capacitor under manufacture warranty. System ran properly and I tested all electronics and motor components to ensure equipment is operating properly within manufacture specifications. Checked filter. Measured the temperature drop across the coil. Educated client on preventative maintenance plans. Enrolled in maintenance agreement and applied member discount to todays repair and trip. Equipment is operating properly at this time. Made them aware that the temperature will drop at about a degree an hour. Thank you for always choosing Total Air!

Called out today to install two float switches. Installed emergency drain pan switch and float drain switch.. Ran system and tested switches. Safety switches are now operating correctly. Thank you for always choosing Total Air!

Called out today to perform a precision tune up on both units. Checked all electronics and motor components to ensure equipment is operating properly within manufacture specifications. Checked and cleaned filters. Tested safety switches on the central air unit (in the attic) and found that neither switch responded. Checked to ensure wiring was correct. Recommended replacing both float switches to ensure no water damage occurs. Cleared drain lines with solvent followed by a gallon of water. Outside I removed the fan from the condensers and cleaned the coils from the inside out. Vacuumed drain line clear from outside port. The contactor located on the main units condenser is failing. The coil on the contactor is pitted and buzzing when energized. I also recommended a drain solve treatment for both drain lines considering how filthy both units were. Drain solve is a harsh chemical that breaks down algae build up within drain lines and allows for proper drainage. Equipment is op

Complete no cool call. Customer states the condenser breaker keeps tripping. After inspection we found the outgoing high voltage wires going to the condenser were loose and not enough of the wire was touching the contact. This generated extra heat in the wire that caused the breaker to trip. After re-wiring the high voltage wires and ensuring tightness the unit is operating normally. Allowed system to run to ensure no irregularities in voltage. Left system in good working order.

Arrived at customer's house to complete drain problem. On arrival customers showed me permission from HOA to perform more invasive drain clearing methods. 1st blew line with nitrogen from uptop. Identified pipe at bottom and vacuumed that drain line. Blew nitrogen behind. Got good amount of drain jelly.Check inside cabinet under evaporator coil Pan. Vacuumed out any sign of drain jelly. Place drain Pan tablet in back middle and front of drain. showed customer how to Properly relieve the secondary reservoir. Started up unit and unit started fine. Refrigerant readings are within acceptable range. Unit producing proper Delta T. Unit is in good working condition. Check in with customer and customer was pleased with work performed. Customer's drain line is backing up again. Customer is in a condo and I believe the drain lines are hung improperly. When I blow on the drain line orally I did not feel much resistance. Still blasted out with nitrogen. Also treated with nucalgon. Having home owner talk to HOA to see if we can cut in Bay to get a look at the drain line. Collected payment and signatures for today's work and left. Customers happy.

Arrived at customer's house for system inspection and Unit intermittently turning off. On arrival customer showed me to air handler unit. Air handler unit was not draining properly. Activated float switch. Blasted condensate line with nitrogen. Unit now flowing fine. Unit putting out proper Delta T. Inside of cabinet has some biogrowth. Suggested UV light. Next went to condenser and hooked up gages. All pressures and readings are of acceptable range. Contactor sending proper voltage. Capacitor with in acceptable range. Unit checks out. Talked to customer about service plan and customer agree to sign up. Collected payment and signature for today's work and left. Customer happy.

Repairing leak by replacing Line Set..... Units got another slow leak someplace but not in the new lineset. Still waiting for the linehide parts to come in to finish the job. Pressurized with one pound Of 410a for a leak test. Switched to a different vac pump and gauge set and that was the problem. Unit is now charged with 6.2 lb of 410a and cooling properly finished linehide today it was not easy customeris happy it's done.

Complete evaporator coil replacement. Remove evaporator coil. I rinsed the evaporator coil off before using chemicals to remove all dirt, dust and debris then rinsed the coil again. Re installed evaporator coil. Pressure test lines with nitrogen to ensure there are no leaks. Vacuum the system down to 500 microns to ensure no moisture or non condensable material is left in the lines. Cycle and inspect equipment. Unit is operational. All pictures are in ST.

Tune up. Checked all me handicap and electrical components. All with in factory spec. Found Pure x bulb expired and replaced. Found growth on fan blade of mini split. Customer opted for pull and clean. Mini split is now clean and sanitized. Left both system cooling and working properly.

Upon arrival customer stated that multiple vents had biological growth build up around them. I visually inspected the vents and found that with every single one growth was present. Company came and installed new flexible duct but left existing registers and mixing boxes. All registers were leaking in between the ceiling and vent causing condensation build up and growth. Mixing boxes in the attic were seeping with air and causing flex’s to sweat. Moving forward Corey is scheduled on Monday anytime after 2 to quote new registers, mixing boxes, and vents. Air Handler evaporator coil is also extremely impacted with growth and will require a pull and clean to be properly sanitized. I also recommended installing a pure air UV system with electrostatic air cleaner to completely combat any further growth on the evaporator coil or supply duct system. Required Repairs: These are the minimum services required to get your system running today and does not include any recommended actions that I noticed. Customer stated upon arrival system experienced a brown out and compressor wasn't running. Just prior to arrival system turned back on. Suspect compressor shut off on internal over load. Compressor amps are slightly above normal but within factory specifications. Left system in good working order.

I found the dual shaft blower motor failed(oil leaks), the blower relay on circuit board failed and the contractor is pitted/ burnt. The evap coil is impacted with growth. The Bard system has wear and tear due to age (2004). Due to the age and high repair cost, I recommend on replacing the system. We discussed on putting in a two head mini split system. We are a Mitsubishi diamond dealer which we offer 12/12 year warranty on parts and compressor. Bryan our comfort advisor will be coming out tomorrow between 9am-11am.
