I started using total air about a year ago after the last two companies I used seem to be a little shady. Total air actually fixed the problem that the previous companies were unable to accomplish (constantly had leaks from the air handler in this attic). The service and the tech today definitely gave five star service. I went ahead and renewed my maintenance contract today for the next year.
I'm so grateful they were able to come out the same day for a second opinion. I've switched over to Total Air because they took the time to troubleshoot, educate me and find the solution quickly. I'm also confident they are are more affordable and trustworthy than the previous company I'd had for years.
This was my first time using their services. They are so professional and efficient. I called the night before set up a appointment. Received a text 30 minutes before arrival. Austin arrived on time was knowledgeable and efficient. Great service
Our second visit with Total Air went as smooth as the first. Easy to make an appointment. Reminders the day before. Our technician was Nathan Rambally. He was on time. Nathan was very friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough. He explained everything along the way with great detail. Nathan did a great job and cleaned up afterwards. We also enjoyed chatting with him. We highly recommend Total Air and their technician Nathan Rambally.Brad and Cindy
Josh and Pierre did an outstanding job installing our new inverter straight cool system. Very professional results and a quality product introduced by Joby who initially consulted with us on inverter technology. We are very happy with Total Air and expect to become long-term customers.
Wade is the best tech I have ever met in my life. He was everything you could ask for. He was very professional, polite,150% effort and knowledgeable. If only I could find more people like him with other projects for my home.
The experience from begining to end was perfect. Got return call first thing this mornimg. Tech was here in no yime and figured out issue and explained everytjing perfectly and made it a great experience. I will definitely recomend
Total Air does twice a year cleaning and maintenance. Today they installed an air purifier uv lamp to keep the air quality up to par. I have cancer of the lungs and do not want to breath air contaminated by dust and mold that might be in the vents.
The tech. came, diagnosed the problem, gave me a quote, worked with the warranty I had on the unit and scheduled the repair.the repair was done efficiently and fixed the problem.
Great company that stands behind its work. My 20+ year old A/C system bit the dust a couple of months ago. Total Air came out and assessed, quoted, and installed a full new system within a couple of days. The employees are very respectful and hard-working. Great quality people. Unfortunately, the new system did not pass the first code inspection because it was too close to a ceiling beam (16 inches of space between, but needed to be 24 inches). I don't blame Total Air for this, as they simply put the new A/C system in the exact same place as the old one, but I guess regulations changed over time. Rather than move the entire new system over 8 inches, we decided that it would be better to have the beam moved 8 inches instead if possible. Total Air hired a licensed contractor to assess and subsequently move the beam at no added cost to me, bringing the system fully up to code. Total Air is very communicative and will take good care of you. They take pride in their work and stand behind the quality. Also, the product I got is great. The variable speed fan has made a noticeable difference in my electric bill. My April bill was $100 cheaper than last year. These are exactly the kind of people you want to do business with. 100% recommend.
Update: I was contacted by the company with an apology and agreed to have a manager come out to assess our AC needs. Jonathan absolutely turned the experience around and was very thorough in explaining the best course of action going forward.Original: We scheduled an appointment to get a quote for a new AC unit. The scheduler was very friendly and prompt. The employee who arrived at the house to provide the quote was unprofessional and condescending.
I own a townhome with an A/C Condenser that was mounted to the side of my unit with a wooden bracket. The bracket had decayed over its 20+ year life, and was ready to give up and drop my unit 6 feet. While not Total Air's core business, they agreed to come out, remove the Condenser, remove and install a new metal bracket I had made (to meet HOA standards), then reinstall the Condenser/System. It was a life saver, and Jeff and Nate did an EXCELLENT job. They were on time, careful with their work, did everything exceeding my expectations, and only wrapped up when they were certain that everything was working to max efficiency. I've been with them for several years, and they installed my complete current unit several years back. Have been nothing but happy with them. I highly advise this company for top quality work at reasonable prices.
Technician Casey Spangler was everything you could want when you need AC service. He is knowledgeable, arrives on time, kept me informed and represented the company well.
I had an issue with my air conditioner yesterday, and Total Air came out first thing in the morning and repaired it efficiently. I’m very satisfied with this company and had moved to them from another company that had installed the unit and with which I had many issues. I would highly recommend Total Air. The technician was professional and provided great service.
Antonio was great! I really know now what I can and can't do against the raging florida heat in an older home. Without his knowledge and expertise id have no idea what next steps to take. Now I know, thanks Antonio.UPDATE: yes, they were nice but ended up being something that should have been diagnosed easily. Spent a lot on possible fixes (which many i would have done anyway maybe) but the solution was very simple and got another company to figure it out and fix it. They know what they are doing but cross-selling, i believe, is their number one priority.
I have been a customer for a few years and have been very satisfied with their services. Recently I needed to log a call on a weekend. They responded to my service request within a few hours and got our system up and running.
Lindsay in the office did an outstanding job of communicating. When the part arrived Friday afternoon Casey did an outstanding job of installing the replacement motor and getting our air conditioner up and running.
This company was first class from the moment I called. Very friendly and very fast & efficient. I was sent a text that my tech was on his way and it introduced him with a picture! When Jeff arrived, he was very friendly - explained everything very well, and was done in great time. I didn't feel pressure at all for anything and it was just great customer service! So thankful to find a company like this.
Great team of knowledgeable HVAC techs. I learned a lot and had great service for a great price that is already improving the air quality in my home. Thanks Jeff!!
I originally had my new AC put in by another company. My ac was clogged and the original company that put my ac in never called me back ( even to this day). I saw that Total Air Inc had a 5 star and now I know why. It was a Sunday afternoon, I called them. The lady that answered the phone was very professional. Arionna was at my house within a hour. She showed me pictures of what was going on and explained everything to me. It was a clogged drain. She was extremely professional and friendly. Not only did she do a great job, she knew that i was having this issue alot and asked if I want to join their membership where they come out and service my ac twice a year. The company I bought my ac unit never even did an annual check up which was included in my new ac package and never calls me back when i need service. Total Air Inc. will now be the ac company I will use for now on!
Although I had an issue with this company, how they handled themselves after speaks volumes about their integrity. So few companies seem to want to do right by their customers and this is one of those few. I will be using them again when I need another service call.
Professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and friendly! I was notified when the tech, Wade, was on his way by text and email. He clearly explained the services being provided and what is needed to make our system more energy efficient. TOTAL AIR is my 1st Choice for AC and Heat services!
Casey Spangler arrived for semi-annual maintenance with a very professional manner. He also earned my respect for being very safety conscious by acknowledging the dangerous roof access and finding a safer way to access the roof portion of my unit. I appreciate his can do attitude and professionalism which reflects greatly on Total Air Inc.
Let me start off by saying every single person I interacted with from Total Air was exceptional! Last week I noticed my AC wasn't working as well as it had been. Turns out we needed new duct work. Despite this being a costly repair, working with Total Air made it completely worth it. The technicians that came in for the job were all so friendly and willing to answer any questions I had. Thanks so much to Josh, Noah, and Kier for working so hard!! We will definitely be contacting Total Air again for future services.
Nathan was amazing. He was thorough and explained everything he did and included lots of photos. Was courteous and professional. Wish I had an HVAC servicer like him in Texas! He will do well in this field.

AC went out and was able to get someone out here on the same. The repair did require more work/repair but scheduling the second visit was easy and quick turn around. We use total air maintenance and it’s always worth the yearly plan and certain affordable.

Complete no cool call.
**Customer states the drain line keeps backing up. Customer just moved into this new home a few days ago. He is a current maintenance member but hasn’t got the chance to switch his membership over to this address. We will need to switch the maintenance to this address.
There is a brand new HVAC system installed as the system and drain line are new.
After inspection I found the drain line to be leveled incorrectly and is ran under the flooring which we can not access the line. The drain line travels at an incline going outside which will not work. Gravity fed drain lines needs 1/4” of pitch every 4 feet. This does not.
We will have to run a new condensate pump system from the air handler to the exterior of the home to restore proper drainage.
Customer signed off for the full condensate pump conversion.
This will need 2 guys. (1) 25ft roll of copper.
Customer is down until we can make the repair.
*I sold a drain line clearing but this will need to be

Returned to replaced burned defrost board. Located short in y wire that caused board failure. I was able to jump y over to another wire to correct short. While cycling the system, I found the system running cooling when no cooling call was made and should be running heat mode at the condenser. I tried the other available wires in the bundle with no success.
We will need to return to pull a new low voltage wire from airhandler to the condenser (carrier system). Wire will need to go straight up the wall and through the soffit. Job will take 2 techs and 2 to 3 hours to complete.
Office to make sure techs have a way to secure the wire to the wall with clips.
System bypassed in cooling mode for now. Heat will not function until wire pulled.
Home owner prepaid wire pull today.

Arrived at customer's house for system inspection. On arrival customer showed me to 2 air handler systems. Checked system number 1. UV light was past change date. Brought this to customer's attention and suggest we change it. Customer agreed. Change out light and unit now working fine. Check under evaporator coil and evaporator coil was clean.. Unit was producing proper Delta T. Went to next air handler unit and UV light was also past date. Do not have replacement for this bulb on the truck but got unit information. Customer would like to change out Whenever we can get the bulb. Checked under evaporator coil and under evaporator coil was clean. Suggested to customer both of these lights be upgraded to a pure air UV light. Gave customer literature and created estimate. Next went outside to condenser's. Opened electric cabinets And tested all components. Capacitors within acceptable range. Contactors sending propper voltage. Vacuumed out both drain lines. Neither unit is currently equipp

Upon arrival checked motors, electrical components, and pressures on 2 rheem split closet systems. AH 1 AND 2 both upstairs. Upstairs IV bulb still on but needs replaced. Replaced UV bulb on larger rheem unit AH (both AH next to each other). Cleared draon line and DeltaT excellent. Recommend Surge protectors for both units. Added existing equipment and left systems in good operating condition.

I performed a maintenance. I checked pressures, electrical components and flushed drain line with cleaner. The warranty capacitor was below factory specs, replaced. I noticed the compressor is slightly noisy on start up. Need to keep an eye on this issue. I left the system in good working order..
