Upon arrival unit head unit blowing room temperature air no refrigeration occurring outdoor abnormal operation light indicator was active. Technician removed housing for top unit and checked refrigeration refrigeration levels are fine control board shows discoloration through thermal heat LED lamp not active this indicates control board has failed. Recommend replacement of unit. Required Repairs: These are the minimum services required to get your system running today and does not include any recommended actions that I noticed.
Completed member tune up visit #1. Cycled and inspected equipment. Found dual capacitor weak, and air handler contaminated with bio growth. Installed a new dual capacitor and pure air x. Left system in good working order. Also customer will most likely purchase a new thermostat when she comes back around April.
I performed a chemical clean on condenser. I washed from the inside out. I installed two surge protectors at condenser disconnects..
Completed system tune up. Checked pressures, volts, amps and all electrical components. Checked evaporator coil. Checked drain line and condensate pump. Customer having issue with air flow to master bedroom and living room. Found 4" supply run collapsed however unable to check ducts to bedroom at this time , we will need a very small guy to inspect ducts to back bedroom. Upon completion of inspection we will send quote for repair of necessary duct work. Customer signed up for taps membership. Left system in good working order.
found water dripping due to clogged drain line. Cleared drain line and vacuumed out condensate pump. Checked condensate pump operation. Customer signed up for membership. Left system in good working order.
Replaced the ECM blower motor. Performed start up procedures and monitored the system. No more issues were found. Cleared the drain line. Left system running properly.
Upon arrival found the system frozen up due to a filed ECM blower motor. Recommend replacing the motor. Contacted Carrier and the motor is in stock. Provided two quotes to Stephanie, one with our TAPS membership and one without. Note: Customer is going to review estimate with her husband tonight, please follow up first thing in the morning. Left system off at the disconnect.
I replaced the blower motor with a new variable speed motor and performed start up procedures. Left the unit in good working condition.
Upon arrival found failed blower motor. Offered a rescue motor and they said they would wait until we find a motor. We need to call and find out when we can get the motor. System is not running. Signed up for a membership.
Upon arrival found two weak capacitors and a failed fan motor. Motor and capacitors need to be replaced. Customer is aware that when this parts are installed more testing has to get done to insure system is working properly. Installed a new OEM condenser fan motor and replaced the two weak capacitors, I recommended a surge protector to better protect the unit. Customer moved forward. Performed start up procedure, left system in good working order.
The drain line outside was in a bad spot and would get knocked out of place by her gate and cause it not to drain properly. We repaired and rerouted the drain and checked for proper drainage. No service charge (Per Jason) only charged for minor drain line repair.
I performed a maintenance. I checked pressures, electrical components and flushed drain line.. The contractor is pitted/ burnt, replaced before it fails.
Completed member tune up #1. The airhandler uv bulb is blown. The condenser dual capacitor is good but the terminals are rusted, the disconnect is old and rusty and the suction line armorflex is old and falling apart. The location is on the beach and the salty air has caused a lot. The customer is from up north and come back and forth every once in a while. Customer approved the work. We replaced the uv bulb, dual capacitor (warranty), condenser disconnect and reinsulated the suction line. We left the system in good running order. *Customer used a $50 coupon*
