Customer was concerned about the hissing noise that was coming from the outside unit. The noise the customer was hearing was coming from the compressor. Additional noise was coming from the condensing fan. When the system starts up, the fan was slow at starting. Customer agreed to speak with the comfort advisor to replace the system as the repair cost would be exceedingly expensive and their opinion.

Performed quoted repair. Pull and clean blower assembly and clean place evaporator coil. Completed maintenance on both systems once completed. Per Marvin added refrigerant to Goodman System at no charge to the customer. System is cooling however, compressor is showing signs of decline. Compressor is running and I added estimate for warranty compressor once confirmed by the office. I suggest getting a comfort advisor to quote a new system versus investing into this one.

Water was dripping from a damaged, torn supply plenum box. The overflow drain pan was NOT full with water. After verifying refrigerate pressures, the gauges indicated an undercharge of r-410a, a refrigerant leak. Offered a recharge of r-420a & a electronic leak search be performed. Supply panel box would have to be redone over for a hole at the bottom where the water is leaking out from the frozen coils. Closely repairs outweigh replacement options on the 2014 air conditioner system. I strongly recommended speaking to comfort advisor about replacement options. With costly repairs, it may be time to speak to a comfort advisor about a more efficient system 05/02/24 @ 11 to noon CA scheduled

Called out today due to no cooling. Upon arrival client stated that the condenser would not turn on. Checked refrigerant pressures and found the system empty of charge. Gave options for different leak searches as well as worst case scenarios for repairs. Client is aware that the machine is 10 years old and out of manufacture warranty. Made her aware that we can fix anything but offered her to weigh her options for repairs vs replacement. She would like to speak with a comfort advisor about her options for replacement. She is interested in moving the condenser to the side of the house. Informed her of our financing options as well. Left system in same condition as arrival. Chris will be out from 3-4 with options for machine replacement. Thank you for always choosing Total Air!

Water dripping by the air filter return grill, arrived at the house and was greeted by Autumn, she informed me of the situation with the water leak, I went into the attic where the air handler is and found safety float switch was not positioned correctly not allowing system to shut off on safety in case this kind of issue happened and the condensation drain is backed up with condensation water, informed this issue is due to lack on maintenance and that going forward maintenance needs to be done every 6 months. Quoted to flush drain with Drain Solve and sign up for the maintenance plan, waving service fee today, Autumn accepted option. I corrected safety float switch, replaced filter, cleared drain, added drain solve and flushed with hot water and vacuumed from outside, drain was really dirty and clogged with the Zoogloea bacteria, issue is corrected and system is operational and not dripping water anymore, this job is complete, Thank You for choosing Total Air.

For the first time since moving to Florida I feel like I was given truthful, manageable solutions for my AC issue! I was able to see and understand exactly why my AC wasn’t blowing cold air, was given multiple different options for repairing and maintaining, as well as offered suggestions for a more efficient system in the future. I’m now confident, because of the annual membership I purchased, that the next year will be nice and cool. And if any problems arise I can count on this company to fix it up without giving me the run around.

Wade was very nice but was at our home for about 4 total hours to fix a floater switch and unclog our drain. He also washed his tools in our bathtub without asking permission or telling us he was doing that and left a dirty mess in our tub and bathroom. Not sure if he was new as he had to make several calls during his visit to our home, but wound not not want him to return for our AC needs.
