Customer was concerned about the hissing noise that was coming from the outside unit. The noise the customer was hearing was coming from the compressor. Additional noise was coming from the condensing fan. When the system starts up, the fan was slow at starting. Customer agreed to speak with the comfort advisor to replace the system as the repair cost would be exceedingly expensive and their opinion.

Water was dripping from a damaged, torn supply plenum box. The overflow drain pan was NOT full with water. After verifying refrigerate pressures, the gauges indicated an undercharge of r-410a, a refrigerant leak. Offered a recharge of r-420a & a electronic leak search be performed. Supply panel box would have to be redone over for a hole at the bottom where the water is leaking out from the frozen coils. Closely repairs outweigh replacement options on the 2014 air conditioner system. I strongly recommended speaking to comfort advisor about replacement options.
With costly repairs, it may be time to speak to a comfort advisor about a more efficient system

Water dripping by the air filter return grill, arrived at the house and was greeted by Autumn, she informed me of the situation with the water leak, I went into the attic where the air handler is and found safety float switch was not positioned correctly not allowing system to shut off on safety in case this kind of issue happened and the condensation drain is backed up with condensation water, informed this issue is due to lack on maintenance and that going forward maintenance needs to be done every 6 months. Quoted to flush drain with Drain Solve and sign up for the maintenance plan, waving service fee today, Autumn accepted option. I corrected safety float switch, replaced filter, cleared drain, added drain solve and flushed with hot water and vacuumed from outside, drain was really dirty and clogged with the Zoogloea bacteria, issue is corrected and system is operational and not dripping water anymore, this job is complete, Thank You for choosing Total Air.
