Rigo is very good and I will recommend everyone at Total Air!
Completed precision tune up. The airhandler has a dirty blower wheel assembly. The system is old (1998) but he wants to keep it running and going for now until he decides to replace it. There is no access to the duct system. Holes would have to be cut into the ceiling for the ducts or cleaning. He wants to schedule the blower wheel assembly pulled and cleaned. We would need the coil cleaning machine because I can’t find a water source. This job will probably take about 3 hours. He is available any day and anytime.
Performed system tune up. Inspected all electrical components and found a weak dual run capacitor. Custumer moved forward with replacing it. Coils are clean and pressures in range. Repaced the air filter. Cleared the drain line. Left system in good working order.
Upon arrival found a blown fuse. Further inspection revealed that the issues was at the low voltage plug of the ECM motors. Corrotion from moisture go in and shorted. I got the corrotion boils up out and plug it back in to test the motor. Performed start up with no issues. Monitored the equipment and allowed to cycle. No more issues revealed it self. If issue returns I recommend replacing the harness and blower motor. System was running at the time of my departure. Note: Customer had a $25 off coupon.
Performed system tune up. Over all condition is fair, is an old ststem with no labels. Inspected all electrical components and found a weak blower run capacitor and a damaged low voltage wire at the condenser. Customer moved forward with repairs. Coil is clean but filter is dirty, customer is replacing it soon. Cleared the drain line. Left system running. Note: Peter is considering replacing the system and what my thoughts were about it. He will talk it over with his Son that will be moving to this property. I recommended having Bill come over and provide a free estimate. ****Please contact Peter Wednesday 3/18/2020 after 3:30pm to schedule Bill.*** I mentioned that today's repairs can be refunded if he moves forward with a system replacement within the next "two weeks".

Performed system tune up. Drain line was clugged and drain pan was full of water. Cleared the drain and pan. Sealing has water mark due to water dripping from the plenum that was sucks by the blower. Inside of the AHU is wet, vacummed as much as I could. Abundance of biological growth is present in the air handler. Higly recommend air sanitation units installed. Customer moved forward with an elite UV system I mentioned about the benefit of a Pure Air air sanitizer as a combo but for the moment he's just going to have the ELITE. Left system running properly.
Install. Mitsubishi 9000 BTU Mini Split, Run Line Set In Line Hide, Run New Electrical Circuit. Price Includes All Material, Labor And Permits Mini-split- unit installed, working on perfect condition added a p trap at the drain line, uv paint at the armaflex ,new voltage ren from the electrical panel and also an inside lineset from the laundry room to the outside wall we left with the system working on perfect condition
I performed a maintenance. I checked pressures, electrical componants and flushed drain line with cleaner. I installed a surge protector which protects condenser from surges/ voltage fluctuation. I hosed down condenser coil of pollen. I left system in good working order..
I performed a maintenance. I checked pressures, electrical components and flushed drain line with cleaner. The start capacitor is starting to get weak ( buy time) . I noticed the contractor was replaced. I recommend on installing a surge protector to protect the compressor/ components from surges. I installed the surge protector. The air handler has biological growth. This will create breakdowns and lack efficiency. I recommend a uv light which prevents growth and clean air. I put a quote together on the different options. Let us know if you will like to move forward..I left the system in good working order..
I performed a whole system leak search . I found leak at evap coil, not repairable. When I started up system, the compressor/ fan didn’t come on. I found the dual run capacitor failed. I replaced capacitor to get the system going for me to check pressures. We had to go outside to discuss the situation... I weigh in 4 lbs of 410a refrigerant. To replace the evap coil it’s a project. To get coil out of the attic, need to remove roof supports that have plumbing pipes attached. You will need someone else to remove structure. I highly recommend on replacing the system due to age 9 yrs old and cost... They will like Bill our comfort advisor to come out to give quote. If you decide to move forward, Bill will credit back the whole service call for today...
